 The government will launch a £12M awareness campaign to remind people what the first symptoms of a stroke are. This is part of a bigger stroke awareness strategy after ministers were critisised abou the standard of stroke care. Posters and leaflets will be available in GPs and other public places, with adverts appearing on television, radio and newspapers in the new year.
