Up to five children a day in Britain are suffering from strokes and their consequences, according to new research. Scientists at Bristol University will be studying victims to get to know more about symptoms that can occur. Young stroke sufferers are usually diagnosed too late to benefit from lif saving treatment, meaning between 1979 and 2000 stroke was the cause of death for 1,500 children.
